Bruce Fries
Bruce Fries grew up in Saugatuck where he spent a lot of time on the beach. He has been married to Cathy for 22 years and has two children, Jon and Michelle. They have been attending Grace for 17 years.
Bruce has been part of West Michigan Episcopal Cursillo for ten years, serving in many positions over that time, including rector (twice), Secretariat, and Vice President. He also volunteers at Son-Life Camp and Retreat center. At Grace he serves on the Evangelism and Communications Commission.
He owns his own company, Water’s Edge Services, which specializes in repairing industrial sewing equipment and custom engraving (including the mugs used at Grace Church!). He enjoys hunting, fishing, and skiing with his son, Jon. He enjoys being out in God’s creation, admiring the beauty He has created.
Dave Masselink
Dave Masselink was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan. He came to Grace in 2001 when his wife DuAnne and he were married. They have three children, Samatha (21), Brett (16), and Jersey (6).
Here at Grace he is involved in the Evangelism and Communications Commission and has previously served on Vestry. Dave works for Herman Miller in Information Technology, and he enjoys gardening, camping and kayaking.
Mary Remenschneider
Mary Remenschneider grew up in Davison, MI, on the east side of the state near Flint. She graduated from Hope in 1996 and has an MSW with an emphasis on policy, planning and administration. Mary is currently the Executive Director for Major Gifts at Hope College. She and her husband Scott came to Grace and Holland in 2003 after living in Auburn, Alabama for 5 years. They have two children, a daughter Madison (5) and a son Will (1).
Mary makes meals for the Meal Ministry here at Grace and is a Coffee Hour host. She has been active in the Parish Profile process, the selection of Pastor Jen as the church’s head rector, and most recently took part in the Strategic Planning Commission.
She enjoys baking, playing with their kids, reading, spending time with family, and singing. She presently volunteers at their kids’ schools whenever possible and also does some professional mentoring with students. Mary is a member of the Chamber of Commerce as well as the Women's Enrichment Forum.
Robbie Schorle
Robbie Schorle grew up and lives now in Fennville, leaving only to attend Western Michigan University. She and her husband Mick have three children and four grandchildren. She has been at Grace for about eight years.
Robbie is on the Fellowship Commission here at Grace, where she most recently chaired the wine tasting event. She has been involved with Habitat for Humanity where she particularly enjoys working on homes built for women by women. She has previously worked for the Red Cross, mission trips, and several other community projects.
She enjoys spending time painting in her studio at home. She also loves to travel, read, knit, and sew. Most of all she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially time spent showing her grandchildren how to paint and draw.
